Spring Frolicking!//Fabulous Finds Friday

So apparently Florida likes to wait until mid-March to deliver Winter weather... it's been in the low 40s for the duration of this week. I'm not complaining, but I can't say I don't feel bad for the kiddos on spring break. No tanning for you!

Aside from the unexpected freeze, this week has been GORGEOUS and filled with fun. I've officially started training for my 5K {which will eventually lead to a half marathon in my very warped little mind}, and the exercise has completely elevated my energy to unhealthy levels. If Elle Woods taught me anything, it's that exercise gives you endorphins, and endorphins make people happy...so I apologize if this post is overly-cheerleader.

As far as my playful escapades go, I've had a few, although I had to slow down a bit after a physical breakdown on Wednesday (ruh oh). I went to a Magic game on Friday {we are NOT as bad as people say}, hung out downtown with my bestie S on Saturday, and relaxed and booked a few exciting jobs on Sunday. Not a bad deal. Also, I'm being officially reassigned at work to head of the Marketing Department, which is an exciting change and opportunity for me. I love learning new things, and I feel like I've genuinely mastered everything about my current position... so bring on the challenge, BTA!

Here come the pictures...

I'll never complain about an excuse to bring out the trench.
Bundled up like a snow bunny... in March...in Florida. Happy Spring Break, Knights! :)

Excuse the fact that I look like a monster. I ran 3 miles for the first time in 6 months and felt obliged to photogenically document my success.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing best friends who live in California, especially when we both share an equal affinity for our hometown team.

Magic Mickey!

Literally freezing with S at Finn Henry's

Fabulous nails with fabulous drinks

Belated V-Day care package from Ashley Brooke? Yes, please.

Now that I've shared entirely too many pictures with you, here is the deal for Fabulous Finds Friday... All things Spring!

{Springtime Nail Polish} Spring nail lacquer collections make me smile. The soft and delicate colors of the season look fabulous on everyone. I currently have ballerina pink on my nails and turquoise on my toes... one of my bosses asked if I was trying to the match the color scheme of my Easter-themed pretzel M&Ms. Maybe I am, maybe I'm not.

1. Butter London Nail Lacquer in Cuppa
2. Butter London Nail Lacquer in Icy Mint
3. Butter London Nail Lacquer in Fruit Machine
4. Butter London Nail Lacquer in Jasper
5. Butter London Nail Lacquer in Kerfuffle
6. Butter London Nail Lacquer in Molly-Coddled

{Mint} This is hands down the worst time of year for my bank account and the best for my closet. As brands unveil their spring collections, my heart (and wallet) melts for bright//crisp//fun colors, specifically mint. Please excuse my heavy preference for The Limited's Spring Collection... I just can't get enough. Their clothing is timeless and so well made. Here are my favorites {thus far} to help satiate my mint obsession:

{Charity Miles} While I was sick and incapable of working out, I came across this amazing free phone app, Charity Miles, that tracks your distance as you raise awareness and earn money for your charity of choice. You can literally help change the world just by walking, running, or biking, and I think it's fabulous.  Now that I'm back in the exercise game, I'm a full-blown participant//supporter//advocate of this concept. Well, that's all for this week, folks. I'm excited for some rest//relaxation//playtime this weekend... hopefully, it'll warm up a bit so I can see sunlight for the first time in a few days. Also, it's my mom's belated birthday celebration, so that'll be a quirky good time. I was also informed that we are rescheduling our skydiving plans from this Sunday to a later date in April... and ya, I was unaware I had skydiving plans. So basically, I'm going skydiving in April! I guess this gives me more time to get my affairs in order...before I die.

Happy Friday, lovebugs! Make the most of it! :)
