It's Fun Friday! I'm determined to get out of bed this weekend, so I'm looking forward to the next few days. On the agenda? Relaxation, socialization, and possibly some tanning. 
Can't wait.

It's no secret that staying in bed all day has kept my spirits low, so I've started occupying my time by shopping online (dangerous for my budget, great for my wardrobe). Here are some of my favorite January finds:

Loafers: For Christmas I received over $150 in Macy's gift cards. Since I don't normally shop at Macy's, I spent a while perusing their website. They sell brands like Bobbi Brown (favorite makeup), Coach, Michael Kors, etc. online. I've been looking for a fabulous pair of loafer-esque flats (perfect for work and everyday wear), and I found these Coach beauties and couldn't resist.  My second choice was a Michael Kors luggage pair, which I may end up purchasing in a lighter color, and I also found adorable mint green loafers that I'll be ordering, as well.

The High Low Dress: Since I've lost so much weight, very few of my dresses fit me without having them taken in. I decided to shop the Juniors department for size 0 dresses to avoid spending the extra money on a tailor, and I couldn't believe I found this gorgeous gold-belted navy and coral high low dress. I will literally find places to wear this.

My favorite online shopping network has quickly become Sheinside. The clothing is so chic yet inexpensive, and I have found tons of amazing deals and steals on their site. These are my two latest dress purchases (both high low--- surprise, surprise).

Statement Necklaces: My best friend is the most amazing bargain hunter I've ever met (not to mention she knows me like the back of her hand), and she gave me a gorgeous jade bubble Fit for a Queen Statement Necklace from Charlotte Russe for Christmas. I visited their online store because I was so pleased with it, and I ordered one more in pink. For only $12.99, the quality of these necklaces rivals the $100+ cost of a J. Crew necklace. I'm obsessed.

Now after my checking account hates me, it's time to put these outfits to good use. I'll be traveling to Miami in a few weeks, and I can't wait to finally wear all my sequinned (yes, I have a few-- it's what pageantland does to you!) skirts and dresses. They would've been perfect for New Years; but oh wait, I didn't do anything for New Years... because I was in bed... sick... ugh, I am determined to get out of this rut of a health situation. I've got the resources on my side: loving support system, highly trained and credentialed medical professionals, and a heck of a lot of willpower. Let's do this!
